11 April 2016 - The Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV) for the Philippine National Election in May 2016 commenced in Ankara, Turkey on April 09. The husband and wife, Mr. Wahid Guialab and Mrs. Ferry Guialab, became the first and second overseas voters in Ankara to cast their votes for the National Election at exactly 0826H, Ankara time.

Ankara has been the Guialab family's second home for nine years. This is the second time that Mr. and Mrs. Guialab exercised their right to vote during Philippine elections while residing in Ankara. END
