12 April 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Baghdad has been working closely with international and non-government organizations, such as the International Organization for Migration and the Seed Foundation, in helping the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq strengthen its efforts to combat human trafficking.

On April 07, Philippine Embassy Chargè d’Affaires Elmer G. Cato joined Seed Foundation President Sherri Talabani and human rights lawyer Sherizaan Minwalla in discussing trafficking concerns with Director General Arif Hito of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
