27 September 2013 – Philippine Ambassador to South Africa Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. and Madame Yoko Ramos-Vingno hosted a farewell luncheon at the Ambassador’s residence for outgoing Thai Ambassador Nonsiri Buranasiri and Madame Santhani on September 06. 

Ambassador Vingno thanked the spouses Buranasiri for their role in cultivating and nurturing the friendship among the ASEAN Heads of Missions and their spouses in South Africa and also wished them well for the future.  Ambassador Vingno made special mention of Ambassador Buranasiri’s astute handling of the chairmanship of the ASEAN-Pretoria Committee during the first half of 2013.

Present at the luncheon were the Heads of Missions and spouses of Indonesia, Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, South Korea, Hungary, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru and Spain, as well as retired South African Ambassador Zazeraj of Paramount Group Inc. END
