MAD LUNA 1

20 April 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Madrid held a successful film showing of the critically acclaimed historical epic film, Heneral Luna, on April 17 at the Centro Cultural Eduardo Urculo in Madrid. More than a hundred people from the Filipino community, as well as some Spanish citizens, attended the screening.

The Ambassador highlighted the importance and value of keeping democracy alive at present, and of preserving democracy for the sake of the country’s future.

The movie was well-received and well-applauded by the audience. It garnered very good reviews particularly from the younger members of the Filipino community.
