27 April 2016 – Ambassador Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. was the Guest of Honor at the Emirates Airlines’ “Cebu and Clark Route Launch Presentation” last March 01, which is a joint collaboration between Emirates and the Philippines’ Department of Tourism (DOT).

Daily roundtrip flights from Dubai to Cebu and Dubai to Clark via Emirates began on March 30, which is expected to strengthen the international connectivity of two of the Philippines’ international hubs. The Philippine delegation presented the new routes at the launch event. The delegation was led by Mr. Stalingrad Samson, Desk Officer for DOT Middle East, and was composed of Ms. Rowena Sorioso, DOT Dive Market Development Group; Mr. Albert Lafuente, Director of Sales and Marketing, Shangri-la Mactan Resort and Spa; Ms. Norsan Almeda, Director of Sales, Crimson Hotels and Resorts; and Ms. Edna Faustino, Project Development Manager, CCT168 Travel.

Ambassador Vingno was joined by Consul General Paul Raymund P. Cortes and other members of the diplomatic mission in the UAE to support the launch. END
