30 September 2013 - The Philippine Embassy in Doha, State of Qatar participated in the Table Tennis Tournament of the ASEAN Committee in Doha (ACD) on September 28 held at Brunei’s Embassy. 
Ms. Leni Geron and Ms. Liza Dean were the champion in the Women’s Double division. The team of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin and Fay dela Paz was the 1st runner up in the Mixed Double division. And, Mme. Naomi Relacion won 2nd runner up in the Heads of Missions’ Spouses division.
ACD since its establishment on December 12, 2011 has organized activities to foster camaraderie among the ASEAN Missions in Doha.
Currently, there are seven ASEAN resident embassies in Doha, namely, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. END
