05 May 2016 – The Heads of Missions of the Association of the South East Asian Nations Committee in Muscat (ACM) composed of Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand called on His Excellency Nasser bin Muhammed bin Khalifa Al-Busaidi, Head of Protocol Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The courtesy call on the new protocol chief was headed by the Interim Chairman of the ACM, Philippine Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman Narciso T. Castañeda.

Ambassador Sheikh Aflah Suleiman Al Tai, Head of the ASEAN Department, was also present during the courtesy call.  The courtesy visit was capped by the awarding of an ASEAN token to H.E. Al-Busaidi by Ambassador Castañeda, on behalf of the ACM. END
