06 May 2016 - The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) in Milan organized a medical mission in collaboration with the Filipino Nurses Association of Milan in celebration of the Philippine Labor Day on May 01.  The event was held at the premises of the Evangelical Church and was attended by more than a hundred members of the Filipino community.

OWWA Officer and Acting Labor Attaché Ms. Jocelyn Hapal read the message of President Benigno Aquino III extolling the contribution of the overseas Filipino workers in the country’s economic development and nation-building.  Filipinos availed of various medical services such as consultation, dental services, blood typing and electrocardiogram.   END
