18 May 2016 – The Philippine Embassy participated in the “2016 Chinese and Foreign Families Spending International Day of Families” held at the Beijing Sport University on May 07.

The event was organized by the Beijing Women’s Federation for better understanding and appreciation of Chinese traditional sports such as Chuiwan (Chinese golf), Tau Hu (game of throwing arrows into a pot) and Cuju (ancient game of kicking a ball) which were all available for participants to try and enjoy during the event.

The event also offered family activities such as sand painting, mask painting, face painting, picture book exhibition, panda quiz and Polaroid pictures.

The event was participated by other Embassies such as Vietnam, Hungary, Russia, Poland, Nepal, Lithuania, Iran, Guinea, Croatia and Argentina. END
