20 May 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka concluded the overseas voting in Bangladesh for the 2016 Philippine National Elections at 3:00nn. (Bangladesh time) or 5:00nn (Philippine time) on May 09. Counting of the votes immediately followed. The Embassy personnel with their spouses and the Filipino community leaders in Bangladesh joined the Embassy’s Special Board of Election Inspectors (SBEI) and Special Board of Canvassers (SBOC) in counting and canvassing the votes of the Certified List of Voters in Bangladesh. The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka had a voter turn-out of 46%.  END
