23 May 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Athens conducted a consular outreach in Cyprus from May 14 to 15 at the Philippine Consulate in Nicosia. This is the Embassy’s second consular mission to Cyprus this year.

The consular team provided a total of 425 services, including 420 ePassport applications. Consul Sheila Marie C. Tario also administered the oaths of two former Filipinos for the retention and re-acquisition of their Filipino citizenships under the Dual Citizenship Law. Services were also extended by POLO-OWWA and PAG-IBIG.

The consular outreach was conducted with the support of Ms. Shemaine Bushnell-Kyriakides, Honorary Consul of the Philippines in Cyprus and volunteers from the Filipino community in Cyprus. END.
