25 May 2016 – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has processed 13,867 consular services in April 2016, with a breakdown as follows:

 

Passport Services

For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 5,100 passport applications: 4,879 for passport renewals, 144 for new passports, and 77 for replacement of lost passports. 

The Embassy also processed 281 passport validity extensions and 57 Travel Documents, as well as release 4,843 new passports.

 

Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)

The Embassy conducted three consular mobile missions: 2nd Industrial City in Riyadh on April 16, Buraidah on April 22 to 23 and Al Khobar on April 29 to 30.

Visa Services

A total of 308 visas were issued by the Embassy, the bulk of which were Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A).

Civil Registry Services

The Embassy processed 212 civil registry documents: 48 Reports of Marriage; 147 Reports of Birth; 13 Reports of Death; three Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and one application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.

 Notarial and Authentication Services

The Embassy provided a total of 2,749 notarial and authentication services: 2,692 notarials and 57 authentications.
