30 May 2016 - The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles hosted a welcome reception on May 25 in honor of the eighteen (18) Philippine National Police (PNP) participants of the Public Safety Officers Senior Executive Course (PSOSEC) Class 2016-93.  The PNP-PSOSEC Class is headed by Commander Perigrino Balestramon. Their counterparts from the Los Angeles Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) also attended the reception.

The PPSC-OSEC participants are in Los Angeles for a training program to enhance their competence level for higher command positions in provincial, regional and national levels in the Philippine National Police.

This partnership between the PNP and the FBI is on its 11th year, resulting in a deeper law-enforcement cooperation between the Philippines and the US.  This is the first batch for the year 2016 received by the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles. END
