30 May 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Oslo, in cooperation with the ASEAN Embassies in Oslo, Norway, (lndonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam) participated in the Oslo Språk og Kultur Festivalen (Oslo Language and Culture Festival) at the Radhusplassen on May 21. The event was open to all Embassies that wanted to display their heritage at the historic Viking fortress.

The event's target demographic was Oslo residents who were interested in learning more about foreign cultures, traditions, and cuisine.

The ASEAN booth featured Philippine dried mangoes along with Indonesian drinks and candy, sticky rice cakes from Myanmar. In addition, numerous Philippine-made products were displayed, ranging from wood carvings, mother of pearl decorations, woven bags, tourism brochures together with Thai decorations and Vietnamese lacquer ware.
