30 May 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw won the Best Booth Design in the recently-concluded Tourism Fair in the City of Opole in Poland which was held from May 20 to May 22. Principal Assistant for Economic Diplomacy Attaché Ms. Evelyn Vega worked on the lay-out of the Philippine booth.

For first time ever in the 42 years of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Poland, the Embassy participated in Opole’s annual Tourism Fair to accelerate the momentum of its three-pronged campaign to enhance awareness about the Philippines in Poland, to project a positive profile of the Philippines, and to help boost the number of Polish tourists to the country as part of the “Visit the Philippines 2016” program of the Philippine government. At least 850 Poles visited the Philippine booth based on the number of tourism brochures which were given to the visitors. END
