31 May 2016 - The Philippine Consulate General in Manado repatriated 93 Filipinos previously detained in the Marine and Fisheries Resource Base in Bitung for illegally fishing in Indonesian waters. The repatriation took place on May 28. They boarded Philippine Navy ship BRP Pangasinan which departed the Indonesian Naval Base in Bitung for General Santos City. They arrived on May 29 at Makar Wharf, General Santos City.

The repatriation concluded the Indonesian segment of the PH-RI Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) XXX- 2016 Exercises which will continue until 04 June 2016 in the Philippines. END
