31 May 2016 – The Philippine Embassy in Brasília held a film showing of the film Heneral Luna at the Centro Cultural de Brasília on May 23.
Around one hundred Brazilians and members of the Filipino Community attended the film showing
The Heneral Luna film screening was one of the run-up activities held in commemoration of the 118th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence and the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Philippines and Brazil.
In general, viewers called Heneral Luna an excellent film with an engaging story line. They said that they appreciated the history of the Philippines more after watching the film. END
