07 June 2016 - Philippine Ambassador to Riyadh Ezzedin H. Tago made a courtesy call on May 31 on the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Undersecretary for Consular Affairs, Ambassador Osamah Al-Senousi at the MFA Headquarters in Riyadh.

During the farewell call, Ambassador Tago expressed appreciation to the Undersecretary for the host government’s assistance in various consular matters, including facilitation of consular outreach missions, arrangements for jail visitations and assistance to violators of the residency laws especially during the 2013-14 correction period, and regular amnesty for those detained for various offenses.

MFA Undersecretary Al-Senousi expressed appreciation for the Embassy’s cooperation with the MFA and other host government agencies. He added that the Kingdom continues to welcome the deployment of more Filipino workers to the Kingdom. END
