08 June 2016 - The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong, in partnership with the Board of Investment of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), was one of the exhibitors at the Global Investment Zone of the inaugural Belt and Road Summit, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council on May 18 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Summit was participated in by around 2,000 delegates from various countries and regions composed of project owners, investors, and service providers in the following sectors: banking and financial services, professional, cross-border investment, logistics and maritime, infrastructural development, international trade and manufacturing and governments and institutions.
The Philippine booth featured information on doing business in the country. It was participated in also by fellow ASEAN countries Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand. END
