04 October 2013 – The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh conducted a mobile consular mission dubbed “Embassy on Wings” in Male, Maldives on September 27 and in Colombo, Sri Lanka from September 28 to 29.

The consular team, composed of Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Mohd. Noordin Pendosina N. Lomondot as Head, Consular Assistant Marife Soriano-Guba and Administrative Officer Francia Ybañez, processed a total of 97 e-Passport applications and one (1) Report of Birth.

The consular outreach was successfully organized with the valuable assistance of Philippine Honorary Consul General in Sri Lanka William Perera and Philippine Honorary Consul in Maldives Abdulla Salih. Appreciation was extended as well to the Filipino community leaders and volunteers in the countries for their warm welcome and support. END
