15 June 2016 - The new Ambassador to Singapore of the Federative Republic of Brazil Flávio Soares Damico paid a courtesy call on the Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales at the Philippine Chancery in Singapore on June 08. Ambassador Damico presented his credentials to Singapore President Tony Tan Keng Yam on May 19. Before being appointed to Singapore, Ambassador Flávio Soares Damico was Director of Inter-regional Mechanisms in the Ministry of External Relations of Brazil. During the call, Ambassador Morales and Ambassador Damico exchanged views on developments in Singapore and the activities involving the diplomatic corps, which was once headed by the latter’s predecessor, the former Dean of the diplomatic corps Ambassador Luis Fernando de Andrade Serra.
