5 October 2013 - The Lao National Institute of Fine Arts, led by its Director, Mr. Maysing Chanboutdy, welcomed Philippine Ambassador to Laos Maria Lumen B. Isleta and other personnel of the Philippine Embassy in Vientiane on their visit to the Institute on September 26 to discuss possible areas for cooperation.  Mr. Chanboutdy took the opportunity to show Ambassador Isleta around the Institute and the various arts that it promotes and teaches such as painting, printmaking, ceramics and pottery making, woodcarving, and sculpture, among others.

Accompanying Ambassador Isleta were Vice Consul Analyn de Leon-Ratonel and Attaché Sarah Erer. They were also joined by M Gallery owner Michael Chan and Lao artist Marissa. END
