22 June 2016 - The Philippine Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa, was warmly welcomed by the Filipino Community in Mozambique as it conducted a consular mission in the country’s capital, Maputo, and attended the community’s Philippine Independence Day celebrations on June 18 organized by the leaders of the Filipino Community in Mozambique (FILCOMOZ).
The Embassy consular team was able to provide passport renewal service, document legalization service and consultations on consular-related questions.
The Philippine Embassy in Pretoria regularly conducts consular missions in the ten countries under its jurisdiction - South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zimbabwe and Zambia. There are over one thousand Filipinos in Mozambique. END
