28 June 2016 - The Filipino community in Madrid celebrated the 118th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence with a program with the Tahanan Filipino Chaplaincy of Madrid at the Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Espino on June 12.
A youth-led parade going to the church marked the beginning of the program.
This was followed by a dance number of Paypay de Manila by the members of Asociación de Mujeres Filipinas (AMFIL), and a song number by Bro. Rheadh Dela Torre.
The program was followed by a Thanksgiving Mass to celebrate and commemorate Philippine Independence. END
