14 July 2016   – The Philippine Embassy in Berlin successfully captured and recorded the passport biometrics of overseas Filipinos using the new ePassport (APO) system in three simultaneous mobile outreaches held this month.  Embassy teams travelled to the German cities of Frankfurt am Main, Duesseldorf, and Bonn to process a total of 217 passport applications, 16 civil registry reports, and over 50 assorted consular applications.
