15 July 2016 -  The Philippine Consulate General in Milan conducted a dialogue and briefing with the Filipinos in Modena in the region of Emilia Romagna organized by the Federation of Filipino Associations of Modena (Fedafilmo) led by Mr. Dionisio Adarlo.

Philippine Consul General to Milan Marichu B. Mauro was joined by Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Officer Jocelyn Hapal, Consular Assistant Arnaldo Mahor, Consular Assistant Antonio Julao, Social Security System (SSS) Representative Wilma Ortiz, and Pag-IBIG Representative Brigitte Mahor. The dialogue is in line with the policy of bringing the Consulate closer to the people and carrying out more effective services.

Consul General Mauro expressed her appreciation to Fedafilmo in promoting deeper partnership with the Consulate. Projects were proposed aimed at benefiting the community especially the Filipino youth of Modena.  OWWA, SSS, and Pag-IBIG briefed the community of the benefits of being members of these institutions.
