Statement: On the Terrorist Attacks in Pakistan

24 November 2018 – The Philippines denounces the 23 November terrorist attacks on the Chinese Consulate in Karachi and on an open air market in Orakzai in Pakistan that left close to 40 persons dead.

The Philippine Government and the Filipino people express their deepest sympathy to the families of the innocent victims and wish the swift and full recovery of those injured.

The Philippines stands with the rest of the world in condemning terrorism in all its forms as well as attacks against diplomatic and consular agents and premises, and remains ready to cooperate with the international community to prevent and address such threats to international peace and security.
