Bulletin: On a Bus Accident in Ottawa

12 January 2019 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is checking if there are any Filipinos among the victims of a bus accident in Ottawa on Friday.

Ambassador to Canada Petronila Garcia reported that the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa is coordinating with authorities to ascertain if any Filipino was involved in the accident.

A city transport double decker bus hit a bus shelter at Ottawa's Westboro station during the afternoon rush hour, killing two passengers and one person waiting at station and injuring 23 others. END
