Bulletin: On the Bus Accident in Thailand

17 January 2019 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has been informed that one Filipino tourist was hurt when a passenger bus carrying her and 22 other Filipinos skidded off a highway in Chumphon province in southern Thailand on Monday.

Ambassador to Thailand Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon reported to Home Office that the injured Filipino sustained minor injuries in the accident and was released after receiving medical treatment. She said all 23 Filipinos later resumed their journey to Phuket, their final destination. END
