Statement: On the Visit of U.S. Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo

24 February 2019 – United States Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo will visit the Philippines from 28 February to 01 March 2019.

Secretary Pompeo will pay a courtesy call on President Rodrigo R. Duterte and will meet with Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. to discuss issues of mutual interest.

Secretary Pompeo will travel to the Philippines immediately following his visit to Vietnam. END
