Bulletin: On the Earthquake in Sulawesi, Indonesia

12 April 2019 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is monitoring the aftermath of a 6.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Central Sulawesi in Indonesia today at 6:40 p.m.

The Philippine Consulate General in Manado said that there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties. It has also gotten in touch with a Filipino in Central Sulawesi, who confirmed that the quake did not cause significant damage in his area.

The Consulate General will continue to monitor the situation and provide assistance if needed. END
