Bulletin: On the Fire in Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris

16 April 2019 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is monitoring developments as a fire broke out in Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on the evening of 15 April 2019.

The Philippine Embassy in Paris is checking with authorities if there are any victims due to the incident.

According to French news and official tweets, the fire broke out after the end of visiting hours. Officials said that the incident was probably caused by the renovations that the church is undergoing. END
