On the Raising of Alert Level II in Lebanon

10 January 2020 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has raised, on 09 January 2020, the Alert Level in Lebanon from 1 (Precautionary Phase) to 2 (Restriction Phase), in view of the current situation in Lebanon and recent developments in the region.

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) with existing employment contracts and are registered under the Balik Manggagawa Program may still return to Lebanon.

Filipinos in Lebanon are advised to remain vigilant and remain in contact with the Philippine Embassy in Beirut. END
