Statement: On the Demise of the Prime Minister of Bahrain

PASAY CITY 16 November 2020 — The Republic of the Philippines expresses its condolences and sympathies to the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain following the passing of the Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness was a model statesman and sage leader who will be remembered for his contributions to the development of modern-day Bahrain.

His demise is a great loss to Bahrain, the Middle East, and the international community. END
