Public Advisory: On the Temporary Suspension of Operations of Consular Offices in Observance of All Saints Day on 1 November 2021
28 October 2021 - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its Office of Consular Affairs in Aseana in Parañaque City and all Consular Offices (COs) nationwide will be closed on Monday, 1 November 2021, in observance of All Saints Day.
Passport, authentication and other consular services will resume on Tuesday, 2 November 2021. The public is advised that schedules may be subject to sudden changes due to unforeseen circumstances or implemented policies of local government units and establishments which host the DFA Consular Offices.
DFA reiterates that the number of persons allowed inside COs at any given time is limited. This is in accordance with the prescribed physical distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Applicants entering any of the Department’s COs will also be subjected to a temperature check prior to entry and will be required to wear a mask and a face shield and must follow any other public health measures in place while inside the CO premises.
