09 July 2013 - The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh strongly urges those concerned to avail of the processing of the documentation for mothers, and their undocumented children, provided by the Saudi authorities.

The Embassy would like to reiterate that this arrangement with Saudi authorities will only last until July 14, 2013.

In addition to advisories, the Embassy has been calling the mobile numbers of the remaining “unprocessed” mothers, but the numbers of those who are appearing for processing is dramatically decreasing by the day.

The processing by the Saudi Interior Ministry followed by DNA testing is only the initial step prior to processing at the Jawazat – Wafideen and fingerprinting and issuance of final exit by the Jawazat.

Further, the Embassy advises those concerned that rumors circulating regarding the ability of new employers to facilitate the regularization of mothers, and their children, are not in accordance with existing Saudi guidelines and are therefore inaccurate.

Once again, the Embassy urges Filipino females who have undocumented children and have earlier registered with the Embassy or even those who have not registered, to proceed, as soon as possible, to the Um Al-Hammam Field Office and avail of the additional few days extension provided by the Saudi authorities.

Mothers in the Eastern region should arrange with the Embassy for the processing and DNA testing in Riyadh.
