Public Advisory: Update following closure of Consular Offices in areas severely affected by Typhoon Odette; CO Cebu and TOPS Cebu remain closed
22 December 2021 - The Department of Foreign Affairs - Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) advises applicants affected by the closure of Consular Offices (COs) due to Typhoon Odette last 17 December 2021 that they will be contacted for the rescheduling of their appointments as soon as the Department has established contact with the COs and as soon as the situation stabilizes.
CO Cebu and TOPS Cebu shall remain closed until 24 December 2021 as network connection and sufficient power to continue operations are yet to be restored.
Meanwhile, the following COs in Visayas and Mindanao have resumed operations, but shall cater those who are scheduled from 21 December 2021. Applicants scheduled on 17 December 2021 are advised to wait for their new schedule before proceeding to the CO:

CO Cagayan De Oro
CO Clarin
CO Davao
CO Dumaguete
CO General Santos
CO Iloilo
CO Puerto Princesa
CO Tacloban
CO Tagum
CO Zamboanga
In the meantime, the Department urges applicants to prioritize their safety and closely adhere to local government safety and precautionary measures set in place following the typhoon’s aftermath. END
