Public Advisory: Courtesy Lane Accommodation for Muslim Filipino Hajj Pilgrims

21 May 2022 - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), through the Office of Consular Affairs (OCA), is working with the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) to extend passport assistance and walk-in accommodation to Muslim Filipinos intending to perform the Hajj pilgrimage in 2022.

From 23 May to 03 June 2022, Muslim Filipinos intending to participate in the Hajj in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this year will be qualified for the walk-in accommodation at the DFA Courtesy Lane in all Consular Offices (COs) in the Philippines.

To be eligible for the Courtesy Lane accommodation, an NCMF-issued Certificate of Muslim Filipino Tribal Membership (CTM) must be presented. The said certificate should indicate that the certificate was issued for the purpose of Hajj visa application.

For concerns regarding the issuance of the CTM, the DFA-OCA advises applicants to directly coordinate with the NCMF.

Applicants are reminded that documentary requirements for passport issuance must be complied. For the list of requirements, please visit https://consular.dfa.gov.ph/services/passport/requirements. All passport applications are subjected to scrutiny by the DFA prior to the issuance of passports. END
