Advisory: Suspension of Operations in Consular Offices in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte and Santiago, Isabela, Tuguegarao on 23 August 2022 Due to Inclement Weather Caused by Typhoon Florita 

 

23 August 2022 – The Department of Foreign Affairs - Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) informs the public that the operations of the following Consular Offices (CO) are suspended today, 23 August 2022:

  • CO San Nicolas located at Robinsons Place Ilocos, Ilocos Norte; 
  • CO Santiago located at Robinsons Place Santiago, Isabela; and 
  • CO Tuguegarao located at the City Hall Building, Regional Government Center in Tuguegarao City 

This is due to the declaration made by their respective local authorities on the suspension of work in all government offices in their areas due to inclement weather caused by Typhoon Florita. 

Affected passport applicants scheduled at the said COs with confirmed appointments who were unable to avail of consular services due to the suspension of operations will receive an email / SMS from the COs informing them of their new appointment date. For applicants at CO Tuguegarao who are unable to appear on their scheduled reappointment dates are given until 02 September 2022 to avail of their needed consular services.
