Public Advisory: Temporary Suspension of Operations in the DFA Consular Office - Tacloban City on 28 October 2022

28 October 2022 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its Consular Office in Tacloban City (CO Tacloban) is closed today, 28 October 2022 due to inclement weather condition brought by Tropical Storm Paeng and the City of Tacloban’s Executive Order No. 2022-10-40 Series of 2022 dated 28 October 2022.

CO Tacloban will resume its regular operations on Wednesday, 02 November 2022.

Affected applicants with confirmed appointments who are unable to avail of consular services due to the suspension of operations will be accommodated from 02 to 28 November 2022 (Monday to Friday, except holidays) during CO Tacloban's regular operation hours (9:00AM to 4:00PM).
