Suspension of Consular Operations in the National Capital Region on 01 September 2023

PASAY CITY, 01 September 2023 – The Department of Foreign Affairs informs the public that operations in DFA ASEANA, DFA Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) in the National Capital Region (NCR) are suspended on Friday, 01 September 2023, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 30 issued by the Office of the President, dated 31 August 2023, due to continuous rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon, and Super Typhoons “Goring” and “Hanna”.

Applicants for consular services with affected confirmed appointments on 01 September 2023 in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices, and TOPS sites in the NCR will be accommodated from Monday, 04 September 2023 to Friday, 29 September 2023.

TOPS (in NCR) applicants will be accommodated at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs) from Monday, 04 September 2023 to Friday, 29 September 2023. TOPS applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their appointment.

Likewise, the Passport Releasing Service Center in Double Dragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also be closed tomorrow, Friday, 01 September 2023 and will resume operations on Monday, 04 September 2023.

FOR AUTHENTICATION APPLICANTS

1. Authentication applicants with confirmed appointments on 01 September 2023 at DFA-Aseana will be accommodated on the following dates:

The above applicants must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 01 September 2023.

1. Authentication applicants with confirmed appointments in NCR Consular Offices (COs), particularly CO NCR-West (SM Manila), CO NCR-East (SM Megamall), CO NCR-South (Alabang Town Center), and CO NCR-Northeast (Ali Mall) will be accommodated within 30 days from 04 September 2023.

The above applicants must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 01 September 2023.

1. Releasing of Authentication Documents at Double Dragon Plaza

Applicants may refer to their Official Receipts or Authentication Slips of the releasing date for reference. Releasing of Authentication Documents will resume on 04 September 2023 onwards.
