Temporary Suspension of Operations in DFA CO Tacloban on 31 October 2023 starting 12:01PM

TACLOBAN 27 October 2023 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its Consular Office in Tacloban City (CO Tacloban) will be closed on 31 October 2023 starting 12:01 PM pursuant to Executive Order No. 2023-10-038 issued by the City Government of Tacloban dated 27 October 2023 for people to carry out tasks and activities in preparation for a profound and meaningful observance of All Saints Day and All Souls Day.

CO Tacloban will resume its regular operations on Friday, 03 November 2023. Affected applicants with confirmed appointments who are unable to avail of consular services due to the suspension of operations will be accommodated from 03 November 2023 until 01 December 2023 (Monday to Friday except holidays) during CO’s regular operation hours (09:00AM to 4:00PM).
