Temporary Suspension of Operations in DFA CO General Santos Due to High Magnitude Earthquake 

GENERAL SANTOS 20 November 2023 – The public is advised that damages were observed at the exterior of the DFA - Consular Office (CO) in General Santos. following the high magnitude earthquake on 17 November 2023, this City.

In view of this, the Consular Office will temporarily suspend its operations on November 20, 2023, Monday, until further notice while the damage assessment and building inspection are ongoing.

Further announcements will be made once the CO is declared safe for occupation.
