Suspension of Consular Operations in DFA CO General Santos

GENERAL SANTOS CITY 08 February 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs - Consular Office in General Santos wishes to inform the public that it will hold a limited consular operation on 08 February 2024, Thursday, in observance of Isra Wal Mi’raj (The Nocturnal Journey and Ascension of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W) pursuant to Executive Order No. 08, s. 2024 dated 05 February 2024, declaring work suspension for Government and Private Offices throughout General Santos City on said date.

Applicants with scheduled appointments on the aforementioned date shall be accommodated from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM only. 

The CO’s releasing section shall be open from 1:00 to 3:00 PM to release passports.

Courtesy Lane and returning applicants shall be accommodated on the next regular working day, 12 February 2024, Monday.

Affected applicants who fail to appear on their 08 February 2024 appointment may be accommodated within 30 days from Mondays to Fridays (except holidays) at 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
