Temporary Suspension of Operations in the DFA Consular Office in Tacloban on 01 July 2024

01 July 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its Consular Office in Tacloban City (CO Tacloban) will be closed on 01 July 2024 pursuant to Executive Order No. 2024-06-39 issued by the City Government of Tacloban dated 28 June 2024 for people to have time to rest and rejuvenate after the Feast of Senior Santo Niño de Tacloban.

CO Tacloban will resume its regular operations on Tuesday, 02 July 2024.

Affected applicants with confirmed appointments who are unable to avail of consular services due to the suspension of operations will be accommodated until 01 August 2024 (Monday to Friday except holidays) during CO’s regular operation hours (09:00AM to 4:00PM).
