Temporary Suspension of Operations of the DFA Consular Office  and its Offsites in Cebu on 6 August 2024

CEBU 05 August 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its Consular Office in Cebu City (CO Cebu) and its offsites, TOPS Cebu (SM Seaside) and PSO Cebu (SM Consolacion), will be closed on Tuesday, 6 August 2024, pursuant to Republic Act No. 8952 dated 31 August 2000.

RA No. 8952 declares 06 August of every year a Special Non-Working Public Holiday for the Province of Cebu, including the highly-urbanized cities of Cebu and Mandaue, and component cities of Lapu-Lapu, Danao, and Toledo. 

The operations of CO Cebu and its offsites will resume on Wednesday, 07 August 2024.
