Public Advisory on the Suspension of Operations on 28 August 2024 at DFA Aseana, Consular Offices, and TOPS Sites in National Capital Region (NCR) 

PARAÑAQUE CITY, 28 August 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that consular operations at DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-site Passport Services (TOPS) in the National Capital Region (NCR) are suspended on Wednesday, 28 August 2024, due to the ongoing and forecasted rainfall brought by Southwest Monsoon, as recommended by the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) and approved by the order of the Office of the Executive Secretary.

Affected applicants for consular services with confirmed appointment on Wednesday, 28 August 2024, at DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-site Passport Services (TOPS) in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be rescheduled as follows:

FOR PASSPORT APPLICANTS:

1. Reschedule of Passport Application Appointment

Affected passport applicants at DFA Aseana and Consular Offices (COs) in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be accommodated from Thursday, 29 August 2024 to Friday, 27 September 2024, at their respective original appointment site.

Meanwhile, affected TOPS applicants will be accommodated from Thursday, 29 August 2024 to Friday, 27 September 2024, at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs). Said applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their appointment.

1. Passport Release

 The Passport Releasing Service Center at DoubleDragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also suspend its operations on Wednesday, 28 August 2024, and will resume operations on Thursday, 29 August 2024. Any passport releases scheduled on the said date will be rescheduled on the next working day.

1. Affected Authentication applicants with confirmed appointments at DFA-Aseana and Consular Offices will be accommodated on the following date:

Affected applicants must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 28 August 2024.
