Public Advisory on the Suspension of Operations on 02 September 2024 at DFA Aseana, Consular Offices, and TOPS Sites in National Capital Region (NCR) 

PARAÑAQUE CITY, 02 September 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that consular operations in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-site Passport Services (TOPS) in the National Capital Region (NCR) are suspended on Monday, 02 September 2024, following the Office of the Executive Secretary announcement regarding the suspension of government work in the NCR on 02 September 2024 due to inclement weather brought about by Tropical Storm “Enteng”.

Affected applicants for consular services with confirmed appointment on Monday, 02 September 2024, in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-site Passport Services (TOPS) in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be rescheduled as follows:

FOR PASSPORT APPLICANTS:

1. Reschedule of Passport Application Appointment

Affected passport applicants at DFA Aseana and Consular Offices (COs) in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be accommodated from Tuesday, 03 September 2024 to Wednesday, 02 October 2024, at their respective original appointment site. 

Meanwhile, affected TOPS applicants will be accommodated from Tuesday, 03 September 2024 to Wednesday, 02 October 2024, at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs). Said applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their appointment.

     2.  Passport Release

Passport Releasing Service Center at DoubleDragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also suspend its operations on Monday, 02 September 2024, and will resume operations on Tuesday, 03 September 2024. Any passport releases scheduled on the said date will be rescheduled on the next working day.

1. Affected Authentication applicants with confirmed appointments at DFA-Aseana and Consular Offices will be accommodated on the following date:

Affected applicants must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 02 September 2024.
