Public Advisory on the Suspension of Operations on 03 September 2024 at DFA Aseana, Consular Offices, and TOPS Sites in National Capital Region (NCR) and Region IV-A

 

PARAÑAQUE CITY, 02 September 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that due to continuous inclement weather brought about by Tropical Storm “Enteng”, passport and authentication services in DFA Aseana and DFA Consular Offices (COs) and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Region IV-A are suspended on Tuesday, 03 September 2024, pursuant to the announcement from the Office of the Executive Secretary.

Affected applicants for consular services with confirmed appointment on Tuesday, 03 September 2024, in DFA Aseana and Consular Offices (COs) and Temporary Off-site Passport Services (TOPS) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Region IV-A will be rescheduled as follows:

 

FOR PASSPORT APPLICANTS:

  1. Reschedule of Passport Application Appointment

Affected passport applicants at DFA Aseana and Consular Offices (COs) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Region IV-A will be accommodated from Wednesday, 04 September 2024 to Thursday, 03 October 2024, at their respective original appointment site.

Meanwhile, affected TOPS applicants will be accommodated from Wednesday, 04 September 2024 to Thursday, 03 October 2024, at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs). Said applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their appointment.

       2. Passport Release

Passport Releasing Service Center at DoubleDragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also suspend its operations on Tuesday, 03 September 2024, and will resume operations on Wednesday, 04 September 2024. Any passport releases scheduled on the said date will be rescheduled on the next working day.

Our clients’ safety and convenience is of utmost importance to us; thus, we indulge the public’s patience and understanding regarding the suspension of operations. Rest assured that the necessary services will be provided upon resumption of operations. Affected applicants are advised to observe the one-month grace period in processing their passport applications, to avoid crowding and long queues once operations resume.
