DFA Statement on Iranian Missile Barrage on Israel

MANILA 04 October 2024 – The Philippines expresses grave concern over the increasing tensions in the Middle East region.

We urge all parties to refrain from escalating the violence and to work towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict.

We emphasize the need to adhere to international humanitarian law, especially the principles of proportionality and distinction between civilians and combatants, and to ensure the protection of civilians at all times. END
